Academy of Anthropological Research and Training (IAART) is a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) established at Lucknow under the "Societies Registration Act 1860" as No. 1285 of 2003. Its area of operation will be the whole of India territory & other countries of the world.
The core group of academy includes dedicated persons with long & varied experience of various disciplines. They have a high degree of motivation & commitment to the study of Man,society and Culture in all its aspects & shades. They have been concered with anthropological research, teaching & training in India & have a commitment to improve the situation by providing a Tangible help line to guide at the professional front. The Academy's personnels have a high degree of initiative & obligation in their involvement & are ready to work at the grass-root level under difficult circumstances. As an Institution, it is flexible in operation, participatory in character, quick in response & humane & compassionate in approach.
The Academy is particularly suitable to undertake studies on various aspects of Tribal & Rural Development Raj Institutions as envisaged in the 73rd amendment to the Constitution as well as the aspects of Human Biology. The Academy will amicably balance the equations of Anthropology to our graduates, post graduates & researchers coupled with potent counseling & training as per requirements & as reflected in the objectives of the Academy. |
